This vital role greets our patients, displays professionalism, and maintains confidentiality at all times. The medical assistant should be familiar with cardiology practice.

What You’ll Do

Patient Care & Clinical Support

  • Welcome and prepare patients for visits while ensuring a warm, professional experience

  • Verify medical histories, update chart notes, and assist with preliminary assessments

  • Support physicians by preparing patients for exams, procedures, and diagnostic testing

  • Perform clinical tasks such as injections, immunizations, wound care, and infection management

  • Assist with care plans and patient education, including lifestyle, diet, and health maintenance guidance

Practice Operations

  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage messages with professionalism

  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold strict confidentiality standards

  • Serve as a reliable support to the physician during urgent or complex situations

  • Demonstrate sound judgment in determining when to consult supervising providers

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma required

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or related clinical training program

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient‑focused demeanor

  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and adapt quickly in a busy clinical setting

  • Previous clinical or cardiology experience is a plus

Compensation

$16–$20 per hour, based on experience.
